Anyway, she picked me up in this sweet ride yesterday, and took me (with the top down of course) to the launch of a little country boutique in Honeydew called ‘Hyde & Seek’. I absolutely loved the ‘woodsy’ atmosphere, lanterns in the trees, picnic blankets in the shade … pure bliss!
After a peek into every stall and a quick trip (this time with the air-con on) to draw money, we headed to the food stalls, and filled our grumbling bellies with the most delicious fudge, spinach and feta quiche, vanilla cupcakes and iced tea! *licks lips*
Then we headed back to the clothing stall, money burning holes in our pockets, and browsed through the racks of cute little floral skirts; dresses; pretty tank tops with ribbons; bows and buttons; and feathery hair clips! This place is inexpensively awesome and you have to go!!
It happens on the first sat of every month, and anyone can book a stall to sell their own handmade/homemade products! If you turn into Short street from Peter road, carry on till you come to a ‘T’, you’ll see the sign for ‘Hyde & Seek’, just go straight over that road, through the gates and voila, simple 🙂
